OSCAR DE LA RENTA

As a tribute to a talented designer who had a knack for making show stopping gowns, I have selected 5 of my favourite designs, such classic pieces, it must be a dream to own one.

Michelle Dockery

Jessica Chastain - 2014 American Film Festival

Amy Adams - 2013 Oscars

Allison Williams - 2012 Emmys

Cameron Diaz - Oscars 2010

He definitely knew how to create the perfect princess dress that would make you feel a million dollars.

DRESS UP

It was my 23rd birthday the other week and my boyfriend surprised me with a couple of new dresses he chose himself, one of which I wore to go out for cocktails with my friends to celebrate. I absolutely adore the design and the colour, its very flattering and the perfect shade for summer, mint green.

My dress is from ASOS, which is still available to buy, you can also shop similar styles in this colour here

I kept it simple and wore mine with low heeled white sandals from New Look and a black clutch.

BEC & BRIDGE

I am in love with this Australian label, after recently discovering it through Instagram!

"A strong design aesthetic underlies each collection and resonates with their signature style: contoured lines and sleek silhouettes, the look is the epitome of modern, sophisticated and chic. Bec and bridge is renowned for it's innovative take on the party dress, as well as a refined collection of chic separates in fresh and vibrant colour palettes."

A few of my favourite pieces, from their most recent collections....

The clean lines, strong colours and flattering shapes really appeal to me, this is definitely a brand to watch out for, fingers crossed the UK is their next place to branch out to!
