SUBOO SWIMWEAR

All in ones have never looked so good!

I would normally favour a bikini over a costume but after discovering Suboo who showcased at the Mercedes Benz Swimwear show in Miami last week has made me question my chose.

Here are my favourites from their current collection....

The lines create structure to the swimsuit, giving the illusions of curves perfect for more athletic figures or if you re lucky enough to have curves already it does a great job of highlighting them. I love the different patterns and the pastel colour palette they've selected.

And for those of us who like to bare a little more flesh these are perfect for you! With the mesh detail it creates more of a sports luxe feel as well as showing a little more skin and accentuating the waist, using diagonal lines.

We need more styles like this in the UK

Shop their whole collection

and this is what we have to look forward to, SS15....

I cannot wait!!!

Print Design

I have started creating a range of new prints for interiors, from wallpaper to soft furnishings, creating simple, repeat patterns allowing me to concentrate on the overall colour and texture. This collection is inspired by nature and making decaying and the deceased beautiful again, in particular these drawings are from a pine forest i recently visited where the branches have fallen of the trees due to the changing seasons and deforestation.

Inspiration

Textiles designer Victoria Robinson's latest collection 'Country Pursuits' demonstrates a print collection that portrays the English Countryside with a modern twist. I like the photographic detail of her images and the strong use of line to create life like prints for interiors. Her sketches are heavily detailed to create interesting mirrored compositions, shown in the illustration used for her card designs.
